Facial Expression

Sculpture.

This is a wax sculpture that shows the muscles involved in the Maori pukana and whetero facial expression. The Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand and this expression is created by Maori males when performing various haka. The sculpture is painted using washes of oil paint.
